The Trump Presidency

This post is in response to Barbra Streisand's song 'Don't Lie to Me' , a very politically focused song critical of the Trump administration.

It is 100% trash. There is no specific allegation of any particular lie supposedly told by Trump. We all know Hollywood is full of hard boiled leftists and their phenomenal ability to propagandise the simple truths. Let's look at some of the well known achievements of Donald Trump in less than three and a half year that he has been in office. He came to power on the slogan America first, which in turn meant revival of American economy and oh boy! did he not do that. He forced Canada, Mexico and even China to renegotiate trade deals with USA, which lead to scrapping of advantages to these countries under the previous trade deals because of which American companies preferred to set up plants in these countries and then ship manufactured goods to USA after paying taxes in these countries. After the new trade deals with these countries, now American and other companies are setting up factories in USA again, which led to unprecedented fall in unemployment rates, as millions of new jobs were created. Not only this tremendous tax cuts, such as 35% slash in corporate taxes, put more money in the hands of private companies which enabled them to give sharp increases in salaries to their employees, boosting employees income, across America. When Trump took on China by raising tariffs against Chinese goods, almost every economist predicted trade war supposedly leading to collapse in world economy. They were all proved wrong and China was forced to back down and it agreed to a new trade deal with USA, which is said to give USA advantage of 250 billion dollars every year. Trump said he will make an impenetrable wall on the southern border with Mexico to stop the illegal immigrants, which reach American borders in thousands every week and bring its economy down. Despite the budget being in control of opposition Democratic party, which is in majority in the House of representatives, and despite every one saying that such wall just cannot be built, for being prohibitively expensive, Mr. Trump found the way of funding the wall and its construction is underway as we speak. Mr. Trump said he would cancel the nuclear deal with extremist Mullahs of Iran, entered into by the Obama administration, under which America was obliged to transfer 150 billion dollars to corrupt and Militant regimes of Iran. He stood by his words and has cancelled it, not caring for all the European countries party to this immoral deal, forbidding Trump against it. No president should have had to face the false and extremely harassing investigations like "Russian Collusion " in American elections. The very allegation was nothing but a whitch hunt yet the investigation went on for nearly two years and the Democratic leaning special prosecutor Robert Mueller could find no evidence whatsoever of Russian involvement in American elections 2016. Mr. Trump soon thereafter had to endure second whitch hunt when he was wantonly sought to be impeached for allegedly putting pressure on Ukrainian president to investigate supposed corrupt deals of Joe Biden's son with an oil company. How can there be an Impeachment for seeking investigation for corrupt deals by an American? Unbelievable. All this unjust and immoral pressure was mounted on Mr. Trump by hard leftists of Democratic party in a vain hope that he would wilt like President Nixon and quit and they would have avenged the defeat of Hillary Clinton in 2016 presidential elections but all this web of lies by the deep state failed, as Trump fortunately is made of a sterner stuff. The Democratic party has of late sadly taken a sharp turn to the left, which was not the case till a few years ago and which in turn means that they tend to please all kinds migrants and religious and ethnic minorities a lot more, irrespective of the costs thereof to American economy and law & order situation. They therefore hate Trump for his boldly anti-immigrant but pro American policies. They hate him because he was not supposed to be so hugely successful in governing America, therefore the relentless propaganda against him.

Trump may be rough and bit too direct and thus often unpalatable in his remarks but that is a minor price to pay for "making America great again". Yes Corona has eroded much that was achieved under his leadership but you cannot blame that on him. Blame it, if you must, on China, ofcourse.
